The first purchase forges the vault itself: 2 XLM become its eternal foundation (the network's minimum reserve, locked forever in every Stellar account), and everything above that buys $ARCH at the fixed rate. The funder's address is recorded on the ledger for good — the First Scribe is never forgotten.
